OUR POLICIES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Ensuring the Best Experience

At BEAUTRESS, we go out of our way to make sure our valued clients have the best experience possible, from the minute they enter our doors to the moment they leave our incomparable Salon. Please take a moment to review our policies to ensure you understand our operations procedures.

 

Cancellation

At BEAUTRESS, we do our best to make sure all your needs are taken care of. 

All clients are required to pay the deposit asked for during booking, deposits are now Non- refundable from the ( 1st April 2022) however you can change your appointment up to 48hrs before your scheduled appointment on the Beautress app, or you can give us a call or text to request a change. APPOINTMENTS CAN ONLY BE CHANGED ONCE USING THE SAME DEPOSIT. After that a new deposit payment will be requested. By booking you are agreeing to these terms. 

 

If for any reason you may need to cancel your appointment due to issues on our side, your deposit will be refunded. this can take up to 7 days to reach your account.

 

If you are more than 20 Mins late, you will be charged a £15 late fee or the deposit equivalent will be kept and the full balance of your bill will be charged. (eg. if your service was £30 and you paid a £15 deposit, that deposit will be charged as a late fee and the full balance of £30 will be payable. )

 

. If you are more than 20 minutes late ( WITHOUT NOTICED ) your appointment could be cancelled and the full balance of your bill will be charged. Please understand being late has a domino effect on other clients, and my children who are usually inside the house, it usually means I finish work later.

Please note this is a business and appointments cannot be changed on the day for example, A weave cannot be changed for a wash on the day) this means i am losing out and with prior notice i could fit another client in within that hour or two. If the appointment you want to change for on the day is similar in price and time then this could be possible. please contact me to discuss this.

Hair Policy

Braids

Unfortunately we only take box braids booking on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only! 

2. When purchasing your braiding hair please buy Pre-Stretched hair if you can. If your hair is not pre-stretched then the hair MUST be with me 2 days before your appointment, that way I can stretch and prepare the hair my self. A good brand for pre-stretched hair is ( Spectra ) you can also purchase pre-stretched hair from Amazon.

 

3. Please note that brading times seen during booking is estimated. And times can vary due to different length and density of the hair.

 

4. Your Natural Hair MUST be at least 4-5 inches in Length ALL AROUND for all styles.

I will not braid on freshly permed hair, you must wait at least 1-2 week.

 

5 Your hair must be washed and blow dried before coming to your appointment, unless you are having that service with us also. Hair MUST be fully detangled prior to you appointment.

 

I usually recommend 3-4 packs of hair for any box braiding styles, just to be on the safe side, you can always return it if need be.

 

For curly crochet braids I usually recommend 3 packs of hair and for braided looks such as faux locs etc  6 packs of crochets its best to purchase from Amazon, you can get a pack with 6, 7 or 8 seperate packs in. it really depends on the style you are after.

Lace Wigs and Weaves 

 HAIR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

 

Weaves

Hair must be washed and blow dried if you are not having it as part of your service. please refrain from adding too much oils to your hair if you are having a leave out weave. I will not weave on freshly permed/ relaxed hair. I recommend 2 bundles for a natural look and 3 bundles for a full look.

Tapes

hair must be free from oils before your appointment

all straight and kinky straight hair Must have the Satin Slay with their Tape Services to give the best results. I recommend 80-120 tapes but it really depends on the finish you want and the linf of hair texture you want to use.

Frontals and Closures

should be with me at least 4 days prior to your appointment ( must be dropped during work hours only ) if you are having them customised eg, plucking and bleaching.

 

Custom Wigs

Hair Must be with me 1 week prior to your appointment.

Please note all custom wigs are made in advance to your appointment, you only come in for fitting on the day of your appointment.

​Treatments and Chemicals

Your Hair Must be detangled before your appointment, if you are struggling to detangle your hair at home and need extra help there will be an extra charge and you must inform me in advance to your appointment, having badly tangled hair  will allow me to go way over our time schedule and will have a great impact on the salon schedule for the day. 

​

You do NOT need to wash your hair prior to your Treatment.

​

All colours requires a 48hrs patch test. unless you have used the brand before.

​

Hair MUST not be washed at least 1 week prior to your relaxer. all relaxers need to have a consultation before booking your appointment.
